ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Pre-Physical Therapy& Exercise Science

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: KaylaLosco played four years of soccer and earned four varsityletters.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  Kayla is amember of the Dean's List and carries a 3.62 GPA. As a sophomore in2011-2012, she was a recipient as a Jacket Scholar. As a junior in2012-2013, Kayla earned both Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conferencehonors and was a first-team OCSA (Ohio College Soccer Association)Academic All-Ohio honors.  She was also inducted into the ChiAlpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society with a 3.62 GPA. As a senior in2013-14, Kayla earned Academic All-OAC and second-team AcademicAll-Ohio.

ATHLETICHONORS:  As a junior in2012-2013, Kayla was named as the Most Valuable Player of the PennState Behrend University Herb Lauffler Tournament (Sept. 1-2). BWwon the title. She also earned first-team All-OAC honors and ledthe OAC in assists with nine. As a senior in 2013-14, Kayla earnedsecond-team All-OAC and third-team All-Ohio.

GENERAL SOCCERINFORMATION: Kayla played four years of soccerand earned four varsity letters. She played in 70 games, including55 starts, and BW compiled a four-year record of 44-27-9, includingtying the single-season school-record of 14 victories in2013-2014.

Individually, Kayla took 78 shots, including 29 on-goal, scored10 goals and had 13 assists for 33 total points. She led the OAC inassists as a junior with nine. Kayla was a two-time All-OhioAthletic Conference and two-time Academic All-OAC pick. She alsoearned NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association) All-East Regionhonors and twice was named OSCA (Ohio Soccer Coaches Association)Academic All-Ohio.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Kayla competed in her first seasonof soccer and earned her first varsity letter. She played in 15games and started one. She took 11 total shots, including twoon-goal, scored one goal for two points.  She also played akey role on a defense that recorded a pair of shutouts. BW compileda 7-10-4 record and advanced to the OAC. 

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Kayla played her second season ofsoccer and earned her second letter. She played in 17 matches,including 17 starts, and was a key member of both the offense and adefense that recorded seven shutouts. Offensively, Kayla took 35total shots, including 13 on-goal, scored four goals and had eightpoints. BW finished 11-9 overall and advanced to the OACTournament.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Kayla competed in her third season ofsoccer and earned her third letter. She was named as the MostValuable Player of the Penn State Behrend University Herb LaufflerTournament (Sept. 1-2). BW won the team title by beating Allegheny(Pa.) College, 3-0, and host PS-Behrend, 1-0. She played in 19matches, all starts, took 21 total shots, including nine on-goal,scored two goals and led the OAC with nine assists for 13 totalpoints. For her efforts, Kayla was named first-team All-OAC.Because of her work in the classroom, Kayla was named both AcademicAll-OAC and first-team OCSA Academic All-Ohio honors. BW finished12-3-4 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Kayla played her fourth season ofsoccer and earned her fourth varisty letter. She was named OACplayer of the week on Oct. 21 for her game-winning goals againstHeidelburg Universiy (Oct. 16 in Tiffin) and versus Wilmington(Oct. 19 at home). She played in 19 matches, including 18 starts,took 11 shots, including five on-goal, scored three goals and hadfour assists for 10 points. For her efforts on the field, Kaylaearned second team All-OAC and third team NSCAA All-East Regionaccolades. For her efforts in the classroom, she earned AcademicAll-OAC and Academic All-Ohio honors for the second straightseason. BW had a school-record-tying 14 wins and finished 14-5-1overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOLINFORMATION: Kayla Losco grew up in HopewellTownship, Pennsylvania with her three younger sisters and shegraduated from Hopewell High School. She played varsity soccerand was a four-year letterwinner. Kayla recieved a Scholar-AthleteAward each of her four years and was a captain during her juniorand senior seasons. She also was a WPIAL All-Section player as asenior.

Academically, Kayla recieved Highest Honors, was a member of theNational Honors Society and the Encore/ Gifted Program.
