Ron Gasper enters his first season on the Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball coaching staff in 2026.
Gasper has an extensive coaching career spanning more than two decades at the high school, collegiate and club levels. He spent 12 seasons coaching with CVC, including five seasons attending Nationals. He also spent five seasons with Southwest Volleyball and two seasons with Advance Volleyball.
His coaching career began at Lorain County Community College, where he served as an assistant coach from 2006-08. He then spent six seasons at Olmsted Falls High School and Middle School from 2009-14, coaching at various levels. In 2015, Gasper served as the Fairview High School junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant.
From 2016-18, Gasper was a volunteer assistant coach at Cleveland State University. During his time with the Vikings, he helped the program capture two Horizon League Championships and make NCAA Tournament appearances in 2016 and 2017.
Gasper spent 2019-24 as a varsity assistant coach at St. Joseph Academy, contributing to five District Championships and three Regional Championships. He was also part of the program's Division I State Runner-Up finish in 2017 and State Semifinalist appearance in 2023.
Currently, Gasper serves as the Regional Director of Athlete Headquarters Volleyball Club and will coach the 16U team during the upcoming club season. Last season, he coached the club's 14U team and guided the squad to a Nationals appearance.
Outside of volleyball, Gasper enjoys spending time with his daughter, Nora, and his two doodles, Jamesson and Guinness. He also continues to play in volleyball tournaments and leagues when his schedule allows and enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible.
