WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team played to deadlock with Otterbein University in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 1-1 inside of Memorial Stadium.
BW Leaders (5-8-1, 0-2-1 OAC)
- Junior midfielder Sydni Mudge (Birch Run, Mich.) scored the lone goal for the Yellow Jackets at the 17:26 mark of the first half
- Sophomore All-OAC defender Ella James (Loveland) provided the assist for Mudge
Otterbein Leaders (6-3-3, 1-1-1 OAC)
- Freshman defender Keaton Aspacher kicked in the lone goal for the Cardinals (unassisted) at the 26:05 mark of the first half
- Junior goalkeeper Ella Schwertfager made seven saves in the net
First Half
- Otterbein outshot BW 12-5
- The Yellow Jackets had the most saves with four
- Otterbein won the corner kick battle by a 4-3 margin
Second Half
- The Cardinals made six saves
- The Brown and Gold outshot Otterbein 10-8

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for an OAC road contest against crosstown rival John Carroll University. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. on the Wasmer Field inside Don Shula Stadium.
