UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 3-0 on the Wasmer Field inside the Don Shula Stadium.
BW Leaders (5-9-1, 0-3-1 OAC)
- Senior goalkeeper Darcy Schoen (Chicago, Ill. / Saint Ignatius College Prep) made five saves in the net
- Senior defender Ella Barth (Highland / Mayfield) made three shots with each on goal
John Carroll Leaders (8-5, 4-0 OAC)
- Senior defender Brooke Kelly scored the first goal of the game at the 16:41 mark of the first half, assisted by junior midfielder Meredith Coloian
- Junior midfielder/forward Alli Malinky scored the second goal (unassisted) at the 60:10 mark of the second half
- Junior midfielder/forward Emily Patrzyk scored the third and final Blue Streak goal, assisted by junior midfielder/forward Abby Smith
First Half
- The Yellow Jackets outshot JCU 8-7
- The Blue Streaks had the most saves with six
- BW won the corner kick battle by a 2-0 margin

- The Brown and Gold tied the Blue Streaks with two saves each
- JCU had the most corner kicks with two

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 19 for a home matchup in an OAC contest against Wilmington College. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
