Women's Soccer Draws with Quakers in Breast Cancer Awareness Game

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team hosted its Breast Cancer Awareness Game, tying with Wilmington College in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a final score of 1-1 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW Leaders (5-9-2, 0-3-2 OAC)
  • Freshman midfielder Delaine Zura (Perrysburg / Eastwood) scored the first goal of the game at the 11:23 mark of the first half
  • Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) provided the assist for Zura's goal
Wilmington Leaders (6-3-5, 2-0-3 OAC)
  • Junior midfielder Jada Pohlen scored the lone goal for the Quakers (unassisted) at the 55:55 mark of the second half
  • Junior goalkeeper Heidi Toner made five saves in the net
