BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team hosted its Breast Cancer Awareness Game, tying with Wilmington College in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a final score of 1-1 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.
BW Leaders (5-9-2, 0-3-2 OAC)
- Freshman midfielder Delaine Zura (Perrysburg / Eastwood) scored the first goal of the game at the 11:23 mark of the first half
- Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) provided the assist for Zura's goal
Wilmington Leaders (6-3-5, 2-0-3 OAC)
- Junior midfielder Jada Pohlen scored the lone goal for the Quakers (unassisted) at the 55:55 mark of the second half
- Junior goalkeeper Heidi Toner made five saves in the net
First Half
- The Quakers outshot BW 12-6
- The Yellow Jackets tied Wilmington with three saves
- The Quakers won the corner kick battle by a 5-0 margin
Second Half
- The Brown and Gold had the most saves with three
- Wilmington outshot BW 10-9

BW is back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 23 for an OAC road matchup against University of Mount Union. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. inside Kehres Stadium.
