BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team celebrated Seniors' Night as they fell to No. 11 nationally ranked Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference Matchup by a final score of 3-0 in Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
Prior to the game, BW (13-12, 2-5 OAC) honored seniors

Brinn MacLellan,
Sam Rueda,
Alyssa Saghy,
Sydney Simonson, and
Allison Weiner as well as senior student coaches
Carson Owens,
Lauren Reid, and
Andrew Soriano. The Yellow Jackets came out and played No. 11 Marietta (19-0, 7-0 OAC) to the end in each of the first two sets, but the momentum then shifted in the favor of the Pioneers as they dominated the final set to remain one of the three unbeaten teams in the nation.
BW Leaders
- Rueda led the team in digs and kills with 18 and 12 respectively
- Gardner finished with 13 digs, four assists, and one ace
- Simonson tied a game-best three total blocks and added six kills
- Curtiss had a statline of four digs, one assist, and one ace
- Weiner tallied four kills and two block assists
- MacLellan totaled three kills and a dig
- Even with an injury, Saghy started and assisted on two blocks
- Junior Academic All-OAC setter Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.) had a team-high 24 assists
Marietta Leaders
- Junior setter Emory Spitler recorded a game-high 35 assists
- Senior middle hitter Maggie Fellers led the offense with 10 kills and a .529 hitting percentage on 17 attempts
- Junior libero Keira Shannon tallied 22 digs
