ERIE, Pa. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team dropped their first game of the season as they fell to Lycoming (Pa.) College by a score of 1-0 in the first day of the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament hosted by Penn State University-Behrend at Behrend Stadium.
BW Leaders (0-1)
- Sophomore Diego Teran (Exton, Pa./Henderson) got his first start in goal for the Brown and Gold where he had four saves
- Junior midfielder Owen Reyes (North Olmsted) took two shots with one on goal
- Junior forward Max Yakym (Parma/Normandy) also attempted a shot on goal
- Freshman defender Brady Brown (Muskegon, Mich./Fruitport) and freshman midfielder Robbie Rochford (Fairlawn/Copley) each took one shot in their collegiate debuts
Lycoming Leaders (1-0)
- Sophomore midfielder Aidan Stillman took two shots including the game winner for his first goal of the season
- Junior forward Christian Woobay recorded one assist
- Freshman goalkeeper Jace Bennett got the win as he tallied three saves
First Half (Lycoming 1-0)
- 43:35 - Stillman found the back of the net with a pass from Woobay to break the scoreless tie
Second Half (Lycoming 1-0)
- Teran grabbed three of his four saves on the day
