GAMBIER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team defeated Kenyon College in a non-conference game by a final score of 2-0 on the Mavec Field.
BW Leaders (2-0)
- Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) scored the first goal of the game at the 26:51 mark of the first half
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Sydney Rice (North Royalton) scored the game's second goal at the 61:42 mark of the second half, with Rich providing the assist
Kenyon Leaders (0-2)
- Freshman forward Emily Copeland and junior forward Jenna Michel each made two shots
- Sophomore goalkeeper Ariel Kite made three saves

- BW outshot the Owls 8-3
- Kenyon and the Yellow Jackets each had one corner kick

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 4 for their third consecutive road game in a non-conference match against Allegheny (Pa.) College. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. on the Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
