MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to Allegheny (Pa.) College in a non-conference game by a final score of 3-1 on the Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
BW Leaders (2-1)
- Senior defender Ella Barth (Highland / Mayfield) scored the lone goal for BW at the 81:57 mark of the second half
- Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender Ella James (Loveland) provided the assist for Barth
- Senior goalkeeper Katie Scott (Lewis Center / Olentangy) made 10 saves in the net
Allegheny Leaders (1-2)
- Freshman midfielder Madeline Schneider scored the game's first goal at the 22:33 mark of the first half
- Senior forward Emma Miller scored two goals in the second half
- Sophomore midfielder Katherine Surdykowski provided the assist on Miller's first goal
First Half
- BW outshot Allegheny 14-13
- The Gators and the Yellow Jackets tied at five saves each
- The Brown and Gold won the corner kick battle by a 3-0 margin
Second Half
- The Yellow Jackets outshot Allegheny 18-10
- Allegheny made 10 saves

The Brown and Gold are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 7 for their fourth consecutive road game in a non-conference match against Chatham (Pa.) University. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. on the Graham Field.
