BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to Ohio Wesleyan University in a non-conference game by a final score of 1-0 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW Leaders (5-3)

• Senior goalkeeper Darcy Schoen (Chicago, Ill. / Saint Ignatius College Prep) made eight saves for the Yellow Jackets
• Junior midfielder Sydni Mudge (Birch Run, Mich.) made three shots with two on goal

Ohio Wesleyan Leaders (5-1)

• Junior forward Ava Bruns scored the game-winning goal at the 85:19 mark of the second half
• Junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh assisted Bruns' goal

First Half

• OWU outshot BW 9-3
• The Brown and Gold made six saves
• The Yellow Jackets and OWU each made three corner kicks

Second Half

• BW outshot OWU 9-6
• The Yellow Jackets made the most saves with three
• BW won the corner kick battle by a 2-0 margin

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 22 for a non-conference road matchup against No. 3 Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. on the CMU Soccer Field.
