Women's Soccer Slips Under No. 6 Carnegie Mellon (Pa.)

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to No. 6 Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University in a non-conference game by a final score of 3-1 on the CMU Soccer Field.

BW Leaders (5-4)
  • Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) scored the game's first goal at the 00:37 mark of the first half
  • Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Sydney Rice (North Royalton) assisted Rich's goal
  • Senior goalkeepers Darcy Schoen (Chicago, Ill. / Saint Ignatius College Prep) and Katie Scott (Lewis Center / Olentangy) each made six saves

  • Sophomore defender Maggie Doherty scored the Tartans' first goal at the 44:54 mark of the first half
