BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team tied Oberlin College in a non-conference game by a final score of 1-1 on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
BW (4-3-3) earns its second tie in three games after Oberlin (3-5-1) answered an early BW goal with one of their own. Physicality was the theme of the night as there were a combined 27 fouls and eight yellow cards between the two teams.
BW Leaders
- Sophomore midfielder Cimi Halilaj (Westlake) scored his first collegiate goal to put the Yellow Jackets in front
- Junior Academic All-OAC midfielder Ben McCauley (Tallmadge) tallied his second point of the season with an assist
- Sophomore goalkeeper Seth Warrick (Avon) saved three shots and recorded his first career assist

- Junior forward Louis Gandelheid scored the equalizer and the Yeomen's only goal
- Sophomore midfielder Leo Pelizzari-Astle was credited with the assist
- Freshman goalkeeper Grayson Benson tallied a game-high four saves

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 28 as they travel to Olivet, Michigan for their final non-conference matchup of the season against the University of Olivet at 4 p.m. at the Cutler Athletic Complex.
