Men’s Wrestling Announces 2024-25 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team and veteran head coach Jamie Gibbs are pleased to announce the 2024-25 season schedule.

BW, who has won the last four straight Ohio Athletic Conference titles and has placed in the top 10 at the NCAA Division III Championships for third consecutive years, opens the season on November 9 when it travels to Angola, Indiana to compete in the annual Trine University Invitational.

The Yellow Jackets begin their quest for a school-record fifth straight OAC crown when its travels to Wilmington for a league dual match against Wilmington College on November 12.

The first month of competition concludes with a non-conference dual match against Delaware Valley (Pa.) College on November 22 and the annual BW Invitational on November 23.

The Yellow Jackets open the final month of the 2024 portion of the schedule when it hosts an OAC dual match against Heidelberg University on December 5.  BW then travels to Naperville, Illinois to compete in the 60th annual North Central College Invitational on December 14.   The Yellow Jackets compete for the final time in 2024 when they travel to Providence, Rhode Island to compete in the East Coast Duals against Castleton (Vt.) University, host Johnson and Wales University and Wabash (Ind.) College on December 21.

A new year but a familiar look starts the second half of the season when BW travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa to compete in the annual National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals on January 10 and 11.

The Yellow Jackets return to OAC action on January 18 when they travel to University Heights for OAC Duals against John Carroll University, the University of Mount Union and Muskingum University.  On the same day, other member of the team will travel to North Manchester, Indiana to compete in the annual Spartan Mat Classic hosted by Manchester University.

BW closes out January with a non-conference road dual against Case Western Reserve University on January 25 and an OAC road dual against Ohio Northern University on January 25.

February action begins when the Yellow Jackets host an OAC dual match against Otterbein University on February 4.  The 38th John Summa Invitational will be contested on February 8.  The regular season concludes on February 15 when BW travels to Angola, Indiana to compete in the Mid-States Invitational hosted by Trine University.

The NCAA Division III Regional Championships will be held on February 28 and March 21.

The NCAA Division III Championships hosted by Johnson and Wales will be contested on March 14 and 15 in Providence, Rhode Island.
