MANHEIM, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team has earned a 2025-26 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Scholar All-America Award while 11 wrestlers have been recognized as Scholar All-Americans.
BW, who was one of three Ohio Athletic Conference teams to be recognized joining Heidelberg University and Ohio Northern University, was 19th of the top 30 teams with a grade point average of 3.622.

Bauer, who carries a 3.956 grade point average in pre-allied health and pre-physical therapy, garners his third straight accolade. This year, he was fourth on the team with 31 victories and a record of 31-12.
Bauer recorded a career-best seven pins, six technical falls and two major decisions. He was an All-OAC second team selection, NCAA Division III All-Region 4 honoree and a NCAA Division III national qualifier. For his career,
Bauer ranks tied for 12th on the school's all-time wins list with a record of 112-50. He tallied 18 technical falls, 18 major decisions and 15 pins.
Bauer was a two-time All-OAC selection, two-time All-Region performer, two-time NCAA Division III national qualifier and an invitational champion. Off the mat, he is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, three-time NWCA Scholar All-American, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Dayton C. Miller Honor Societies.
Petrella, who carries a 3.98 grade point average in exercise science, earns his second career honor. This season, he finished with a record of record of 25-4.
Petrella tied for fourth on the team with 11 pins. He recorded six technical falls and a career-best three major decisions.

West, who carries a 3.600 grade point average in accounting, garners his third career honor. This season, he was second on the team with 36 victories and a record of 36-5.
West was third on the team with a 13 pins. He recorded seven technical falls and four major decisions.
West was an All-American, All-OAC first team selection, three-time invitational champion and the OAC Wrestler of the Week on December 15. For his career,
West ranks tied for ninth on the school's all-time wins list with a record of 119-36. He tallied 43 pins, 21 technical falls and 15 major decisions.

Supers, who carries 3.278 grade point average in business administration, earns his third career accolade. This season, he led the team with 39 victories and a record of 39-3.

McChesney, who carries a 3.417 grade point average in sport management, earns his first career accolade. In his first season in Berea, he compiled a record of 28-9 with eight pins and five major decisions.
McChesney was the 285-pound champion at the Adrian (Mich.) Invitational on November 1.
Shelley, who carries a 3.411 grade point average in business administration, garners his second straight honor. This year, he had a career-best 26 victories and a record of 26-9.
Shelley tied for the team lead with a career-high 14 pins. He tallied four technical falls and career-best tying two major decisions. He was an All-OAC second team selection, All-Region 4 honoree and NCAA Division III national qualifier. For his career,

Vanscoy, who carries a 3.418 grade point average in nursing, earns his second straight accolade. This season, he was third on the team with a career-best 33 victories and a record of 33-8.

Moser, who carries a 3.200 grade point average in business administration and finance, earns his first career accolade. This season, he compiled a record 22-8 with seven pins, three major decisions and two technical falls.
The Yellow Jackets finished the 2025-26 campaign with a record of 12-6 and an undefeated record of 6-0 in the OAC. BW won its sixth straight OAC Championship, finished seventh at the NCAA Division III Championships and was the runner-up at the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships.
