BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team, under the direction of head coach Cheri Harrer, has released its 2024-25 schedule.
BW opens the season with a five-game non-conference slate including the Hampton Inn by Hilton Women's Basketball Tipoff in Washington, Pennsylvania on November 8 and 9. The Yellow Jackets will compete against the host Washington and Jefferson (Pa.) College on Friday and will close the Tipoff against St. Vincent (Pa.) College on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets return to Berea on November 12 for the home opener where they take on Oberlin College and will host Trine (Ind.) University on November 20 in a pair of home non-conference games. The Brown and Gold will then hit the road as they travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to take on La Roche (Pa.) University on November 26 in the last game before conference play.
BW opens Ohio Athletic Conference action on the road against Ohio Northern University on December 4 before hosting Otterbein University on December 7 in the only home conference game of 2024. The Yellow Jackets will then travel to New Concord for an away game at Muskingum University on December 14.
Coach Harrer's squad will then host the Baldwin Wallace Invitational where they take on Alma (Mich.) College in the opening round on December 29 and will face off against either the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire or Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University in the consolation or championship game on December 30.
BW welcomes the new year with a two-game homestand against OAC opponents Capital University on January 4 and Heidelberg University on January 8. The Yellow Jackets will also host OAC games against Marietta College on January 18, Ohio Northern on January 29, Muskingum on February 1, crosstown rival John Carroll University on February 12, Wilmington College on February 15, and University of Mount Union on February 19.
The Brown and Gold will hit the road for OAC contests against Wilmington on January 11, Mount Union on January 15, John Carroll on January 22, Otterbein on January 25, Heidelberg on February 5, Capital on February 8, and closes the regular season at Marietta on February 22.
The OAC Tournament Quarterfinals will be played on February 24, the Semifinals on February 26, and the OAC Championship Game on March 1.
