Women's Soccer Captures Hornets in Home Opener

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team defeated Kalamazoo (Mich.) College in a non-conference game by a final score of 2-0 on the Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.

  • Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) scored the game's first goal at the 23:59 mark of the first half
  • Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Sydney Rice (North Royalton) provided the assist for Rich
  • Senior defender Ella Barth (Highland / Mayfield) scored the second goal of the game at the 44:35 mark of the first half
  • Sophomore All-OAC defender Ella James (Loveland) assisted Barth's goal
