Women’s Volleyball Cleans Up Against Wilmington with a Sweep

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team defeated the Wilmington College Quakers by a score of 3-0 in an OAC matchup at Fred Raizk Arena. 

The Yellow Jackets swept the Quakers in the three straight sets by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-20. BW dominated the second set only allowing 10 points in the middle frame. 

BW Leaders (13-11, 3-1 OAC)
  • Senior setter Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.) led the team with 41 assists, 13 digs, and three kills
  • Junior right-side hitter Lexi Smith (Tiffin / Columbian) had a team-high 15 kills and five digs with a .400 hitting percentage
  • Middle hitter Josie Lynn (Wabash Ind. / Northfield) led the team in blocks with one while also adding nine kills
  • First-year defensive specialist Morgan Kaylor (Galloway / Hilliard Bradley) led the Yellow Jackets with 17 digs and two service aces 

Wilmington Leaders (2-18, 0-5 OAC)
  • Sarah Brown had 10 kills and four digs
  • Kyra Frasier gave out 11 assist with six digs 
  • Logan McQuillin led the Quakers with 21 digs
