ADA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team defeated Ohio Northern University 3-1 in an OAC matchup at ONU Sports Center.
BW fell in the first set (25-19) but bounced back quickly and won the next three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-23. The Yellow Jackets, led by head coach
Kate Latkovic, improved to 11-9 overall and 2-0 in the OAC. BW has now won six of their last seven matches with their set record being 20-4 in that stretch.
BW Leaders (11-9, 2-0 OAC)
- Senior libero Paige Contris (Pemberville / Eastwood) led the Yellow Jackets with 30 digs, while also giving out 10 assists for the double-double. She set a career best in assists while tying her career bests in digs tonight.
- Senior setter Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.) gave out a team-high 42 assists while adding 12 digs - also earning a double-double
- Senior outside hitter Gabby Schlecht (Naperville, Ill. / North) led the squad with 16 kills
- First-year middle hitter Grace Keane (Cleveland / St. Joseph Academy) made three blocks

- Olivia Baumann led with 15 kills
- Kathryn Knaak got 17 digs
- Madelyn Banks gave out 17 assists
- Julian Gaier made nine blocks
