GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team fell to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in a non-conference matchup, 82-80, inside Chambers Hall to open the 2025-26 season.

Senior guard Myles Reynolds (Cleveland/St Edward) finished with a game-high 16 points; additionally, he grabbed six rebounds

Sophomore guard Braylan McClardy (Brooklyn/Cuyahoga Heights) connected on three of his four three-point attempts as a part of his 13-point effort

Junior forward Isaac Richardson (Avon Lake) recorded a double-double with 12 rebounds to go along with his 10 points

Senior forward Trent Rozich added 12 points and led the team with three assists dished out

First Half (Pitt-Greensburg 42-40)

Junior forward AJ Pestello (Cuyahoga Falls/Stow-Munroe Falls) opened up the scoring with a jump shot for the first points by a Yellow Jacket this season

Pitt-Greensburg went on a 9-0 run to hold a 34-27 lead with 5:15 left in the half

Gameplay went back and forth during the opening minutes as the Brown and Gold took their biggest lead of the night, 19-11, with a triple from McClardy

The Yellow Jackets are unable to extend or win the game in the closing seconds following a long step-back two-pointer by senior guard Matthew Marinchak with six seconds left on the clock.
