BEREA, Ohio - The No. 10 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team celebrated Seniors' Day as they defeated Wilmington College in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a final score of 75-43 in Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.

Alek Johnson,
Caely Ressler, and
Bella Vaillant. As a class, these Yellow Jackets have three OAC regular season championships, an OAC tournament championship, three NCAA tournament berths, and an overall record of 89-19 with an OAC record of 61-8.
BW Leaders (22-1, 16-0 OAC)
- Senior All-OAC guard Emily Irwin (Pickerington/Pataskala Watkins Memorial) scored a game-high 11 points after drilling three three-pointers
- Sophomore guard Ava Wilkerson (West Mansfield/Marysville) tied a career-high 10 points with six points coming from deep
- Senior All-OAC guard/forward Caely Ressler (Napoleon) owned the boards with 12 rebounds and added six points and two steals
- Junior guard Kaycie Badylak (Cincinnati/Archbishop McNicholas) contributed eight points and two assists
- Junior Academic All-OAC guard/forward Alyssa Miller (New Philadelphia) continues to dominate defensively with three blocks and six rebounds
- Senior All-OAC forward Bella Vaillant (Perrysburg) had eight boards and seven points
- Sophomore guards Laura McCoy (Newton Falls/Garrettsville Garfield) and Kayla Jones (Grove City) each had four assists and added seven points and six points, respectively
Wilmington Leaders (6-17, 3-13 OAC)
- Freshman guard Alaiya Meaux led the team with 10 points and tied a game-high four steals
- Senior guard Cassidy Lovett finished with nine points, five rebounds, and four steals
- Senior guard ZahKyria Walker added seven points
1st Quarter (BW 19-11)
- Ressler and Vaillant combined for eight of the team's 15 rebounds
- Wilmington took its last lead of the day at 10-8, but the Brown and Gold closed the quarter on an 11-1 run
2nd Quarter (BW 41-18)
- The Jackets shot 10-of-15 from the floor while only allowing two Quaker field goals
- Junior Academic All-OAC forward Brooke Thompson (Maineville/Little Miami) scored four of her five points on the day
3rd Quarter (BW 60-32)
- BW won the battle on the glass by a 15-5 margin
- Badylak drained back-to-back threes followed by a McCoy three to beat the buzzer and to close a 9-2 run
4th Quarter (BW 75-43)
- Junior Academic All-OAC guard Leah Riley (Cincinnati/Sycamore) scored five points including going 3-for-3 at the charity stripe
- Freshman forward Maddy Stumpf (Johnstown/Big Walnut) tied a career-high four rebounds
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, February 19 as they host the final home Ohio Athletic Conference regular season matchup against the University of Mount Union at 7 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
