GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and must have competed in four competitions or finished in the top eight at a conference meet.
Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver
Jason Heisler (Saline, Mich.), senior All-OAC stroker
Tommie McQueary (Batavia/Bethel Tate), junior freestyler
Kevin Meyer (Mentor) and sophomore stroker
Owen Rogonjic (Mentor) all earned all-district honors and now advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, which will be announced on April 23, 2025.
Heisler, who garners his third career accolade, carries a 3.90 grade point average in public relations. This season, he was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Diver of the Year and was the OAC Champion in the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Heisler qualified for his third straight NCAA Division III Regional Diving Championships. For his career, Heisler is a six-time All-OAC diver and the 2024 OAC Scholar Athlete of the Month for January. Out of the pool, he is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
McQueary, who earns his third career honor, carries a 3.86 grade point average in engineering and physics. This season, he won his third straight Ohio Athletic Conference championships in the 200-yard butterfly and was the OAC Champion in the 100-yard butterfly. For his career,
McQueary is a six-time All-OAC performer, the OAC record holder in the 200-yard butterfly and the school-record holder in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly. Out of the pool, he is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Meyer, who garners his first career accolade, carries a 3.97 grade point average in finance and accounting. This season, he set career-bests in the 100-yard and 1000-yard freestyle. Out of the pool,
Meyer is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.
Rogonjic, who earns his first career honor, carries a 3.90 grade point average in mathematics. This season, he set career-bests in the 50-yard butterfly, 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard freestyle. Out of the pool,
Rogonjic is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and a Dean's List student.
BW finished the 2024-25 campaign with an overall record of 6-4 and a 2-3 mark in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets placed fourth of six teams at the 2025 OAC Championships.
