NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University softball team split an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader with Muskingum University on Donna J. Newberry Field.'
In game one BW (17-2, 7-1 OAC) scored one run on four hits as it plated its lone run in the fourth inning. Muskingum (9-12, 6-4 OAC) scored five runs on six hits as it pushed all five runs across the plate in the sixth inning.
At the Plate
- Junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC first baseman Gillian Ryser (Hubbard) went 2-for-4 with two doubles
- Sophomore left fielder Sam Peterkoski (Berea/Berea-Midpark) went 1-for-3 with a run batted-in (RBI)
- Sophomore third baseman Mia Maddamma (North Royalton) went 1-for-2
In the Circle
- Senior All-OAC right Marisa Hall (Paris/East Canton), who is this week's OAC Pitcher of the Week, suffered her first loss of the season as she allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits with five strikeouts and one walk
In game two, the Yellow Jackets scored three runs on seven hits as they plated all three runs in the seventh inning. The Fighting Muskies scored one run on seven hits as they pushed their lone run across the plate in the sixth inning.

- Junior right hander Katie Barnhart (North Ridgeville) went 1-for-2 with a run scored and walk
- Junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC shortstop Lucia Wolford (McDonald) went 1-for-3 with a double and walk
- Senior All-OAC catcher Bridie Bricker (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark), who is this week's OAC Hitter of the Week, went 1-for-3 with an RBI and walk
- Sophomore designated player Mia Strizak (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) went 1-for-3
- Junior All-OAC right fielder Steph Mraz (Strongsville) went 1-for-4
- Peterkoski went 1-for-4 with a run scored and RBI
