BEREA, Ohio – The top-seeded Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced fourth-seeded Otterbein University for its Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal game on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Cardinals by a 24-11 final score.
During tonight's game, sophomore attack/midfielder
Noah Dodgion (Hilliard / Davidson) and junior All-OAC attack/midfielder
Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North) both broke the BW single-season goal record, previously set at 53 goals by Blake Bower and Ben Kubiak in 2019. While both players netted their 54th goal tonight,
Dodgion currently holds the record at 57 goals. The final record holder will be determined at the conclusion of the season.
BW (14-4, 9-0 OAC) was led by junior attack/midfielder
Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) as he tallied five goals with one ground ball. The Brown and Gold were also led by
Trout as he tallied four goals with four assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Dodgion also led the Jackets with four goals, two assists and three ground balls.
Otterbein was led by senior attack Max Graham as he scored three goals and picked up a ground ball.

The top-seeded Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, May 3 as they host the OAC Tournament Championship against second-seeded Ohio Northern University. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.
