UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team fell to crosstown rival John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a final score of 13-9 on the Wasmer Field inside of Don Shula Stadium.

BW (6-8, 2-2 OAC) was led by sophomore All-OAC midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic) and sophomore midfielder Annette Doren (Lakewood) as they both notched three goals.

John Carroll was led by freshman midfielder Abby Cassidy and senior midfielder Olivia Hanulak as they both tallied three goals.

1st Quarter

• John Carroll scored the most goals with four total
• The Blue Streaks outshot BW 11-5
• JCU won the draw control battle by a 5-1 margin

2nd Quarter

• BW scored the most goals with four total
• The Blue Streaks won the draw control battle by a 4-3 margin
• The Yellow Jackets outshot JCU 7-6

3rd Quarter

• The Blue Streaks won the draw control battle by a 2-1 margin
• John Carroll scored the most goals with two total
• JCU outshot the Brown and Gold 7-5

4th Quarter

• The Jackets tied John Carroll with four goals
• BW outshot the Blue Streaks 8-6
• JCU won the draw control battle by a 7-2 margin

BW is back in action on Saturday, April 12 for an OAC home contest against Otterbein University. The game is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.
