ALLIANCE, Ohio – Select members of the Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet inside of Kehres Stadium. Each student-athlete competed in order to obtain a qualifying mark to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championship meet next week. The meet was unscored.
- Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Katie Plecko (Rootstown) placed fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:24.59.
- Senior All-OAC sprinter Abby Collier (Dublin / Coffman) finished seventh in the 200-meter dash in a time of 24.85. Collier also competed in the 400-meter dash, placing eighth in a time of 56.20.
Select Yellow Jackets also competed in the Augustana (Ill.) Midwest Twilight Qualifier, hosted by Augustana (Ill.) College. The meet was unscored.
- Freshman thrower Janelle Rominger (Cambridge) finished seventh in the hammer throw with a distance of 47.91 meters.
The Brown and Gold will now wait and see which athletes qualify for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor National Championships, co-hosted by the North Coast Athletic Conference and SPIRE Institute from May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio.
