GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four Baldwin Wallace University baseball players have been named to the 2025 NCAA Division III American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Region 7 team.
Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference left-handed pitcher
Brit Kostura (Teqesta, Fla./Jupiter Christian School) and junior All-OAC outfielder
Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider (Grove City) were selected to the second team. Senior All-OAC outfielder
Justin Carinci (Ajax, Ontario, CANADA/Pickering) and senior All-OAC right-handed pitcher
Vince Dolcemaschio (Los Angeles, Calif./Windward School) were named to the third team.
Kostura, who garners his first career accolade, appeared in 12 games with nine starts for a record of 5-1. He allowed 26 runs (23 earned) for a 3.07 earned run average (ERA).
Kostura struck out a career-high 63 batters with 20 walks in 67.1 innings pitched. Earlier this season, he became just third player in program history and the second in a row to be named the Kent Tekulve OAC Co-Pitcher of the Year. He also earned his first All-OAC honor as he was a first team honoree.
Kostura threw the fifth no-hitter in program history on May 2 against John Carroll University. He was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week and the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week Honorable Mention on May 7, the OAC Pitcher of the Week on May 5, and was a part of the OAC All-Tournament Team. For his career,
Kostura has appeared in 22 games with 10 starts. He has a career record of 5-1 with one save in 84.0 innings pitched.
Kostura has allowed 30 runs (26 earned) for a career ERA of 2.79. Off the diamond, he is a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of Alpha Chi Sigma and Dayton C. Miller honoraries.
Ritlinger-Nirider, who earns his first career honor, appeared in all 47 games with 44 starts. He was tied for first in the OAC with a career-best 11 homeruns and tied for third in the league with a career-high 47 runs batted-in (RBIs).
Ritlinger-Nirider batted a career-best .349 (53-of-152) with career-bests in walks with 23, doubles with 15 and triples. He added five stolen bases.
Ritlinger-Nirider tallied a career-high 82 putouts.
He was named to the was an All-OAC first team honoree and was named as the OAC Hitter of the Week on April 28 and to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on April 30.
For his career,
Ritlinger-Nirider has appeared 108 games with 85 starts. He has a career batting average of .331 (98-of-296) with 69 runs scored, 39 walks, 27 doubles, 11 homeruns, 12 stolen bases and three triples.
Carinci, who garners his first career accolade, appeared in 42 games with 39 starts in his first year in the Brown and Gold. He led the OAC in run scored with 49 and was second in the league with 27 stolen bases.
Carinci was second on the team and fifth in conference with a .376 batting average (58-of-155). His 58 hits ranked third in the league.
Carinci tallied 26 runs batted-in (RBIs), 11 walks, eight doubles, five homeruns and three triples. He was an All-OAC second team honoree and named to the OAC All-Tournament Team.
Dolcemaschio, who earns his first career honor, made 15 appearances with 11 starts and had a 9-1 one record. He led the OAC with his is career-best nine victories and a career-high 85.1 innings pitched.
Dolcemaschio was tied for sixth in the league with 59 strikeouts and was ninth in the conference with a career-best 3.38 earned run average (ERA). He was an All-OAC first team selection, the OAC Pitcher of the Week on March 31 and April 14
and named to the OAC All-Tournament Team. For his career,
Dolcemaschio made 31 appearances with 23 starts for a career record of 16-3. He allowed 79 runs (68 earned) in 162 innings pitched with 123 strikeouts and 25 walks.
Dolcemaschio was a two-time All-OAC honoree. Off the diamond, he is an Academic All-OAC selection and a Dean's List student.
BW finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 32-15 and a 13-5 mark in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets won the OAC Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.
