BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team, led by Head Coach Kate Latkovic, earned a 3-1 win over Case Western Reserve.

Baldwin Wallace (3-4) outlasted Case Western Reserve (2-7) by taking the first set (25-19), dropping the second (15-25), and winning in extra points in the last two sets (both 27-25). The last two matches came with many lead changes, but it was the Jackets' hitting percentages of .149 and .184 in the third and fourth sets, respectively, that helped put them on top.

BW Leaders

• Lyla Nash (Berkey / Evergreen) led the Jackets in kills with 18 while also setting a career match best tonight.
• Senior outside hitter Gabby Schlecht (Naperville, Ill. / North) also had 17 kills, which is her season best.
• Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla. / DeLand) made a season-high 46 assists to boost the Jackets to victory.
• Senior libero Paige Contris (Pemberville / Eastwood) had 29 digs to lead the team.
• First-year Julia Garland (Columbus / Hilliard Davidson) made a career-high three blocks, which led the team in that category.

CWRU Leaders

• Kalli Wall had 12 kills for the Spartans.
• Thea Beran led the team with three service aces.
• Sophia Datto got 24 digs for Case Western Reserve.
• Elena Esquivel made 28 assists tonight.
