FOSTORIA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed eighth at the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational at the Fostoria Country Club.
BW was eight of 14 teams with 693 strokes on the par-72 and 5, 807 yard Fostoria layout. Calvin (Mich.) University was the champion with 629 strokes.
- Freshman Ashley Bistodeau (North Branch, Minn.) fired a career-low tying round of 78 and an 84 for a two-day total of 162
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) carded rounds of 84 and 82 for a two-round total of 166
- Sophomore Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) shot rounds of 93 and 92 for a two-day total of 185
- Freshman Charlotte Falsone (West Salem/Black River) posted rounds of 100 and 101 for a two-round total of 201
- Freshman Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) had a career-low tying round of 79 before withdrawing from the second round due to illness
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21 when they compete in the Donald Ross Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Manakiki Golf Course and Shaker Heights Country Club.
