WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's golfer
Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) capped off a historic first season of collegiate golf by earning Ohio Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors and All-OAC first team recognition.
In just her first season on the links,
Porter made an immediate impact on the women's golf program. She finished the season with a team-best and school-record stroke average of 81.44, besting the previous program mark of 82.71 set 13 years ago by Athletics Hall of Famer Brooke Hamilton '13.
Porter finished tied for fourth in her inaugural OAC Championships after she posted rounds of 84, 81 and 78 for a championship total of 243. With the fourth place finish, she earned All-OAC Tournament honors.
Porter also recorded one of the top single-round performances in program history when she fired a career-low 76 at the University of Mount Union Spring Invitational on April 3. The round stands as the second-lowest score ever recorded in school history.
Throughout the season, she consistently delivered strong performances as she carded four rounds in the 70s and posting scores of 84 or lower in 14 of her 16 rounds.
Porter was selected as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week on April 8 and September 26.
BW finished the 2025-26 season fifth at the OAC Championships.
