WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished just two strokes off the lead as it was the runner-up by just two strokes at the OAC Spring Preview hosted by Heidelberg University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was second of eight teams with 345 strokes on the par 72 and 5,864 River Greens layout.  Otterbein University was the champion with 343 strokes.

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) tied for fifth as she fired a round of 84
• Freshman Ashley Bistodeau (North Branch, Minn.) tied for seventh as she carded a round of 85
• Sophomore Taylor Kuhrt (Columbia Station/Columbia) and freshman Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) each tied for 11th with rounds of 88.
• Sophomore Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) had a round of 103

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday, April 20 when they host Yellow Jacket Spring Shootout at the Columbia Hills Country Club.
