UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to John Carroll University by a score of 1-0 at Don Shula Stadium. 

BW Leaders (0-5-2) 

• Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Mia Fourtounis (Akron/Revere) had two shots on goal

• Sophomore midfielder Elise Papp (Bay Village/Bay) took two shots for the Brown and Gold 

• Freshman forward Genevieve Smith (Greensburg, Ind./Greensburg), senior Academic All-OAC defender Lexi Thompson (Maineville Little Miami), and junior forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg/Lynchburg-Clay) each added one shot on goal 

• Junior goalkeeper Kelly Carver (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville East) anchored the Yellow Jackets by making seven saves 

John Carroll Leaders (3-2-1)

• Gracie Villwock scored the match's lone goal

• Andrea Quintero Delgado had five shots to lead the Blue Streaks in the category

• Lucy Altieri gave out the assist for Villwock's goal and also took two shots

• Madeline Martin protected the Blue Streaks' net by making five saves 

First Half (Tied 0-0)

• There were no goals scored in the first half of play; Carver held down the defense in goals making seven saves in the half 

Second Half (1-0 JCU)

• 77:46 – Gracie Villwock connected to score the only goal of the game for either team, which was assisted by Lucy Alteri
