ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in fifth place at the University of Mount Union at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.
BW was fifth of 10 of teams with 340 strokes on the par-72 and 4,763 Tannenhauf layout. NCAA Division II Ashland University was the champion with 312strokes.
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) tied for sixth as she fired a round of 81
- Freshman Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) carded a round of 83
- Freshman Ashley Bistodeau (North Branch, Minn.) shot a round of 86
- Sophomore Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) posted a round of 90
- Freshman Charlotte Falsone (West Salem/Black River) had a round of 95
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13 when they travel to Fostoria to compete in the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational at the Fostoria Country Club.
