TIFFIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team dropped a road contest against Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Heidelberg University by a score of 85-76 inside Seiberling Gymnasium.

Senior guard Myles Reynolds (Cleveland/St Edward) led all scorers with 21 points and led BW as well by being one of three players to collect six rebounds, one of two players to have two assists, and two steals

Junior Academic All-OAC guard Titus Baskerville IV (Stow/Munroe Falls) dropped 19 points, which was right behind Reynolds for the team lead in scoring

Junior forward Isaac Richardson (Avon Lake) had 14 points along with six rebounds to help the Yellow Jacket offense
- Freshman guard Josh Byers (Strongsville) also had six rebounds for the Brown and Gold

First Half (BW 39-33)

BW got on the board first with Richardson scoring a layup a minute into the game

The Yellow Jackets led by as many as nine points in the first half, with junior guard Nick Timberlake (Stow/Munroe Falls) hitting two free throws to put the team up 24-15 halfway through the half

After leading by nine, the Student Princes were able to fight back, and with 5:16 to play in the half, junior guard Jarveil Gainey made a three-pointer to trail by three points, 29-26

Shortly after this, BW brought its lead back up to nine when senior guard Myles Reynolds (Cleveland/St Edward) made a layup to go on an 8-2 run in a 2:30 span and lead 37-28
- The six-point halftime lead of 39-33 was the Brown and Gold's second-largest of the season, trailing only a home victory against Hiram when they led 40-28 at the break
Second Half (Heidelberg 85-76)

Heidelberg started the second half well, going on an 11-4 run to take the lead, 44-43 at the under-16 media timeout

From there, the game became a back-and-forth contest for the next four-plus minutes, with things being all tied at 53 with 11:24 to go

For the next couple of minutes, the Student Princes were able to take control of the game, holding a 65-58 lead with 6:39 to play

The lead only grew for Heidelberg, and at the final media timeout, they held a 73-61 lead
- After trailing 80-70 with 1:01 to play, the Yellow Jackets made things interesting by cutting down their deficit to just six, 81-75 with 30 seconds left, but it was not enough to mount a comeback as they fell 85-76
