BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team dropped their second home game in as many nights against Otterbein University by a score of 70-58 inside the Ursprung Gymnasium.

Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Titus Baskerville IV (Stow/Munroe Falls) led all BW players by scoring 16 points and dishing out two assists

Junior forward Isaac Richardson (Avon Lake) pulled down six rebounds in the loss to the Cardinals

Junior Academic All-OAC forward Andrew Griffith (Akron/Archbishop Hoban) led the defense by tallying two steals
- Sophomore guard Brock Beech (Medina) was the only other player to be in double figures for the Yellow Jackets, finishing the night with 10 points

First Half (Otterbein 40-27)

After going scoreless for the first two and a half minutes of the contest, Beech made a layup to give BW their first points of the game and were trailing 4-2 at the time

Both teams were battling back and forth the first six minutes, with the game being tied at 10 just after the first media timeout

The next seven minutes were very competitive in addition to the first six minutes, with the game being tied at 19 with 7:46 to play

From there, Otterbein went on a 21-8 run to conclude the half and lead the game 40-27 at the halfway point
- Beech led all first half scorers with eight points for the Brown and Gold
Second Half (Otterbein 70-58)

Despite outscoring the Cardinals in the second half 31-30, the 12-point deficit was the closest the Yellow Jackets came, when Baskerville made a layup to trail 67-55 with just over three minutes to play

From the 9:27-5:53 mark of the second half, BW went on a 9-0 run which was their largest scoring streak of the game

The Brown and Gold made seven three-pointers in the second half, making just four in the first half
- Baskerville had 14 of his 16 points in the contest come in the second half of play
