BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team fought hard but fell to the Heidelberg University Student Princes in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a score of 89-81 inside the Ursprung Gymnasium to conclude the home portion of the regular season schedule.
Heidelberg came out of the gates hot, jumping to a double-digit lead early. The Yellow Jackets, while putting up good shooting numbers, were outdone by the outstanding first half scoring display the Student Princes put up, who led at halftime 54-39. An exciting second half saw BW cut the lead down to 6 points with 1:32 left, but they ultimately could not finish the job.
