BEREA, Ohio – The No. 24 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team defeated crosstown rival John Carroll University in a non-conference match by a final score of 31-15 in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
BW (11-6), who has been victorious in his last five matches, won the opening match of the night and closed strong, taking five of the final six matches. After a forfeit loss, John Carroll (2-3) responded by winning three straight matches as well as the final bout of the evening.

- 149-pounds: Senior All-OAC Manny Scordos (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) loss by pinfall in 6:25
- 157-pounds: Sophomore Nick Brunst (Medina/Buckeye) won a 15-0 technical fall
- 165-pounds: Junior All-American and No. 4 nationally ranked Andrew Supers (Medina) won by pinfall in 3:35
- 174-pounds: Senior All-OAC and No. 10 nationally ranked Tommy West (Avon Lake/St. Edward) won by pinfall in 2:45
- 184-pounds: Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC Remington Bauer (Norwalk/Edison) won an 8-5 decision
- 197-pounds: Senior All-American, Academic All-American and No. 1 nationally ranked JoeyPetrella (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley) won a 20-5 technical fall
- 285-pounds: Junior Angelo Camargo (Brook Park/St. Ingatius) loss a 4-1 decision
