ADRIAN, Mich. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team bested the Adrian (Mich.) Bulldogs by a score of 13-6 in Docking Stadium.
 
Baldwin Wallace (5-3) had five players share the lead in goals. The game featured two goals from Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference senior attack/midfield Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North), senior All-OAC attack/midfield Ian Shealy (Westerville / Central), junior attack/midfield Paxton Allison (Redondo Beach, Calif. / St. John Bosco), junior attack/midfield Paul Lopez (Hudson),  and junior Academic All-OAC attack/midfield Carson Grizovic (Walton, Ky./Walton-Verona). Trout led the team with five points and three assists. Junior All-OAC face-off specialist Evan Vetter (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) went an impressive 18-20 in faceoffs, even going 11-11 in the first half. Sophomore goalie Aidan Malone (Canal Winchester) led the team with six saves.
 
Adrian (2-7) was led by Trace Tidswell who had four out of the team's six goals. Goalkeeper Josiah Karnehm made 15 saves and had a .536 save percentage.
 
1^st Quarter (BW 2-0)

• Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference attack/midfield Carson Grizovic (Walton, Ky./Walton-Verona) scored his first goal of the season to draw first blood.
• BW outshot the Bulldogs 12-7 with six shots on goal.
• Vetter won all three faceoffs in the quarter.

 
2^nd Quarter (BW 8-2)

• Allison collected two goals to lead the Yellow Jackets in the quarter.
• BW got out to a 6-0 lead until the 8:48 mark.
• The Yellow Jackets earned 13 ground balls to Adrian's two.
• Vetter won all eight faceoffs in the quarter.

 
3^rd Quarter (BW 11-4)

• The Yellow Jackets outscored the Bulldogs 3-2.
• BW outshot Adrian 12-10.
• Each goalie made four saves in the quarter.

4^th Quarter (BW 13-6)

• Trout scored his second goal of the game.
• The Yellow Jackets outshot the Bulldogs 18-8.
