BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team beat the Fredonia (N.Y.) State University Blue Devils by a final score of 10-6 on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
The Brown and Gold defense stepped up in the 30-degree weather to hold the Blue Devils to only eight shots on goal in the contest. Fredonia (N.Y.) had 24 total turnovers while BW had 13, and the Blue Devils went 11-16 on clear attempts thanks to the ride by BW.

- Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) led the way with two goals for the Jackets.
- Junior Academic All-OAC attack Emma Northrup (Hudson) had two goals as well for the Jackets.
- Senior All-OAC Second Team attack Carley House (Hilliard/Darby) added two goals for the Jackets.
- Freshman goalie Aubrey Berner (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) totaled three saves for BW.
