BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team defeated the Heidelberg Student Princes by a score of 25-0 in an OAC matchup on Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
BW (7-3, 2-0 OAC) was led by senior attack/midfielder
Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) who scored three goals while adding four assists and junior attack/midfielder
Noah Dodgion (Hilliard/Davidson) who notched four goals and three assists. In goal, freshman
Jackson Viverito (Boulder, Colo./Fairview) and sophomore
Liam Liskey (Crown Point, Ind.) each had three saves in net for the Yellow Jackets' first shutout of the season.
Heidelberg was led by goalie Wilson Runnette who recorded 19 saves.
1st Quarter (6-0 BW)
- Senior All-OAC attack/midfielder Jake Koonmen (Fairport, N.Y.) led BW with three goals
- Geiselhart opened up the scoring off of an assist from OAC Offensive Player of the Week Paxton Allison (Redondo Beach, Calif. / St. John Bosco)
- BW picked up 10 ground balls
2nd Quarter (17-0 BW)
- BW held Heidelberg to zero shots on goal
- Sophomore attack/midfielder Carter Oschman (Copley) recorded his first goal of the season
- Junior attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard/Davidson) recorded three goals and two assists
3rd Quarter (20-0 BW)
- BW added three goals
- BW won all four faceoffs in the quarter
- Goal by junior Academic All-OAC attack/midfield Carson Grizovic (Walton, Ky./Walton-Verona) extended the BW lead to 20
4th Quarter (25-0)
- Junior attack/midfield Ryan Holcomb (Hudson/ Walsh Jesuit) added his first three goals of the season
- BW picked up eight ground balls
