BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team beat Albion (Mich.) College in non-conference play by a score of 16-2 on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
 
BW Leaders (6-3)

• Junior midfield Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) led BW with four goals and added three draw controls
• Freshman attack Hayley Huston (Strongsville) had three goals and an assist
• Freshman goalie Aubrey Berner (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) led the Yellow Jackets in the net with five saves and only allowing two goals

 
Albion Leaders (2-6)

• Sophomore midfield Anna Huard scored both of Albion's goals
• Senior goalie Nicole Miller led Albion with 10 saves

 
First Quarter (BW 7-1)

• Alic opened the scoring for BW with an unassisted goal
• The Yellow Jackets opened the game with a 3-0 run
• Junior attack Madie Tomei (Hudson/Walsh Jesuit) led the Brown and Gold with two goals in the quarter

 
2^nd Quarter (BW 11-2)

• Huston notched two goals and an assist in the quarter
• BW outshot Albion 11-4

 
3^rd Quarter (BW 15-2)

• Alic scored the opening two goals of the quarter
• Junior attack Emma Northrup (Hudson) scored a goal and had an assist in the quarter
• Berner made two saves in the period

 
4^th Quarter (BW 16-2)

• Junior midfield Annette Doren (Lakewood) scored the lone goal in the quarter
• BW won the ground ball battle 4-2
