WESTERVILLE, Ohio – For the first time in her career, Baldwin Wallace University junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis student-athlete Colleen Andersen (Ashtabula/St. John) has been named the OAC Player of the Week.

Andersen earns her first weekly honor after winning both her singles and doubles match in BW's 6-1 non-conference victory over Westminster (Pa.) College last Saturday.

She won her match at first singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-2.  Andersen then teamed up with junior Academic All-OAC Olivia Koutouras (Avon Lake) to win at second doubles by a score of 6-2.

This season, she has a singles record of 9-3, including an 8-2 record in dual matches.  She has a doubles mark of 7-5.

For her career, Andersen has tallied 21 singles victories and 14 doubles wins.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 11 when they host an OAC match against Capital University at 1 p.m.
