WOOSTER, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team lost to the Wooster Fighting Scots, 19-5 inside John P. Papp Stadium for the team's first loss of 2026.
Wooster took a big lead early and stayed on the gas throughout the game, thoroughly deserving the victory.
BW Leaders (2-1)
- Junior midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) led BW with three goals and added five draw controls, one ground ball and one assist
- Senior attack Carley House (Hilliard/Darby) and sophomore midfielder Ella Szalay (Struthers/Cardinal Mooney) each scored a goal
- Junior midfielder Annette Doren (Lakewood) added an assist and four draw controls
- Freshman goalie Aubrey Berner (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) recorded nine saves on the evening
Wooster Leaders (3-0)
- Senior midfielder Lizzie Hardy scored four goals, had eight ground balls, and six draw controls
- Sophomore midfielder Mizan Jacobs also scored four goals
- Junior goalkeeper Audrey Richardson had three saves on the night
1st Quarter (5-0 Wooster)
- Sophomore midfielder Cassidy Driscoll opened the scoring for Wooster
- Berner made four saves for BW
- Wooster won the ground ball battle, 6-2
2nd Quarter (11-2 Wooster)
- Alic notched a goal and an assist in the quarter
- Szalay added BW's second goal in the quarter
- Wooster outshout BW 8-6
3rd Quarter (15-4 Wooster)
- Alic scored a free position goal
- House scored on an assist from Doren
- Wooster had five draw controls compared to BW's two
4th Quarter (19-5 Wooster)
- Alic scored the lone BW goal in the quarter
- Both teams made two saves
