BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team defeated Otterbein University by a score of 28-6 in its seniors day matchup inside Finnie Stadium.
BW (11-3, 6-0 OAC) was led in goals by senior Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week Bennet Trout (Pickerington/North), who scored six goals for the Yellow Jackets. BW was also led by junior All-OAC attack/midfielder Paxton Allison (Redondo Beach, Calif./St. John Bosco), who scored four goals. Junior attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard/Davidson) along with senior attack/midfielder Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) both tallied three goals each. In goal for BW, sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Malone (Canal Winchester) had six saves, and freshman goalkeeper Jackson Viverito (Boulder, Colo. / Fairview) had one save for the Yellow Jackets.
Otterbein (5-7, 2-3 OAC) was led by Max Luther, who scored two goals and assisted on two more points.
1st Quarter (BW 6-1)
- Junior face-off specialist Evan Vetter (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the faceoff to start the game for the Yellow Jackets
- Allison scored BW's first goal of the day, unassisted
