WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference sprinter/hurdler
Kenae Moore (Cypress, Texas/Bridgeland) has been named the OAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.
Moore ran three events that ranked her in the top 50 on the national level at the Dave Labor Alumni Invitational at NCAA Division II Slippery Rock (Pa.) University. The All-OAC sophomore sprinter/hurdler ran a 12.11-second 100 meter dash to set a personal record, the best time in the OAC, third-best time in the Great Lakes region, and 16
th-best in the country. She was only .26 seconds shy of the school record and earned fourth place in the event. She also leads the OAC with her 200m dash time of 25.11 seconds. This 11
th place finish is also fourth in the region and 28
th nationally. Her squad's 4x100m relay time was the fastest in the OAC at 48.83 seconds. This finish is also fourth best in the region and top-50 nationally.
Moore finished the indoor track and field season by being named Indoor All-OAC at the OAC Indoor Championships in the 60m dash and 200m dash events by placing third in both races. She started her outdoor track season by claiming second in both the 200m dash and the 4x400m relay at the Bob Kahn Invitational at Oberlin College. Off the field,
Moore is a business administration major.
