BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team beat the Capital Comets by a final score of 20-5 inside George Finnie Stadium. The Jackets move on to 8-3 on the season and 2-1 in OAC play.
The Jackets took the lead early in the game and never slowed down. BW put up 11 goals in the first period, which started their dominant performance over yet another OAC opponent.
BW Leaders (8-3, 2-1 OAC)
- First Team All-OAC Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Cathloic) led the way for the Jackets by tying her career-best with seven goals and one assist.
- Sophomore Ella Szalay (Struthers/Cardinal Mooney) added three goals along with two assists for the brown and gold.
- Freshman goalie Aubrey Berner (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) had two saves for the Jackets and got the win.
