BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University baseball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference outfielder Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider (Grove City) has been named Yellow Jacket Athlete of the Month for March 2026.

To be considered for the monthly honor, a male or female student-athlete must have been nominated for at least one Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) weekly award in his or her respective sport. From the pool of nominees, members of the Athletic Communications staff, together with student assistants from the department's social media team, select the monthly winner.

Ritlinger-Nirider was outstanding in the month of March. He had at least one hit in all 15 games, going 28-for-57 (.491 batting average) with three home runs, 28 RBI, 10 doubles, eight walks, 25 runs scored and one walk. His highlight came on both March 25 and 28, going 4-for-6 against Ohio Wesleyan and Capital, accruing three extra-base hits in an 18-8 win over Ohio Wesleyan.

For the season, Ritlinger-Nirider has a .432/.529/.821 slash line with seven home runs, 39 RBI, 16 walks and 36 runs scored over 24 games after owning a very impressive .349/.449/.691 line a season ago.
