Box Score MASON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University Baseball team competed in a thrilling 17-inning game against the Depauw (Ind.) Tigers, falling by a score of 8-7 as the team competed in their longest game by innings since at least 2019.
The loss is their first in the last nine games after going on an eight-game winning streak. The team concludes the 2026 regular season with a 28-9 (13-3 OAC) record heading into the conference tournament next week.
The Brown and Gold were led by both senior outfielder OAC Hitter of the Week Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider (Grove City) and junior second-baseman Carson Petrecca (Willowick/Eastlake North), who had four of the 19 Yellow Jacket hits.
