Women's Soccer Drops Road Contest to Carnegie Mellon

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to Carnegie Mellon University by a score of 5-0 on the CMU Soccer Field in their first of three consecutive games scheduled to be played away from home.
 
Game Recap:
The Tartans led the game from the beginning, jumping out to a 4-0 lead at the half. The Yellow Jackets as a team started things off by taking one shot in the first half, while making five saves at the net. 
 
The second half was similar to the first half, with BW taking one shot and CMU scoring two goals. For the afternoon, the team made a combined 15 saves from three goalkeepers. 
 
The Matchup:
Today's game was the seventh matchup since 2015 between the Brown and Gold and CMU.
 
Looking Ahead:
The Yellow Jackets return to the pitch on Wednesday, September 23 when they travel to take on the Owls of Kenyon College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
