BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team, led by 12th-year head coach Tom Heil, has released its schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
 
The season starts in 47 days, on Saturday, November 7 as the team plays host to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for a 1 p.m. tip-off inside the Ursprung Gymnasium. They will hit the road for the first time on November 11, where they will play at Chatham University in Pittsburgh at 7:00 p.m. 
 
For the rest of the month, the Brown and Gold have two more home games and one road game. On November 14 and 18, Ohio Wesleyan University and Wittenberg University come to town for games that will start at five and seven. Two days before the Thanksgiving holiday, the team will travel to Hiram College to take on the Terriers which will start at 7:30.
 
Opening up Ohio Athletic Conference play, the Yellow Jackets will play host to Mount Union on Wednesday, December 2 which will tip off at seven. They then play host to Muskingum on December 5 for a 3:00 p.m. game. After a week off, they travel to Marietta on December 12 before ending the 2026 portion of OAC play against Capital at home on December 16.
 
During the holiday season, the Yellow Jackets will partake in the Cruizin Classic hosted by St Thomas University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The first matchup is against Ursinus College, and their second and final matchup is against Husson University, Sunday, December 20 and Monday, December 21 with 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. tip-offs.
 
The team concludes the 2026 calendar year by playing on the road at Washington & Jefferson College inside the Salvitti Family Gymnasium. The game will start at 2:00 p.m. and it will wrap up 12 games they are scheduled to play before the new year.
 
The year 2027 begins with the team playing host to Bluffton College on Saturday, January 2 at 1 p.m. It will also be the final game of the non-conference portion of the schedule before they focus on the OAC the rest of the way.
 
From January 6 to the rest of the season, BW will have Heidelberg, Otterbein, Marietta, Ohio Northern, and Wilmington at home, while they will travel to play games against Otterbein, Wilmington, Ohio Northern, Muskingum, Mount Union, Capital and Heidelberg. 
 
The Yellow Jackets are aiming to improve on their 7-18 overall record and their 4-12 OAC mark from a season ago. The OAC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 23 with the quarterfinals on Thursday, February 25 and the championship game on Saturday, February 27. The NCAA tournament is set to begin on Friday, March 5.
