In its first match, BW fell to Westminster, 3-2 in five sets by scores of 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 14-25 and 15-7. Leading the way offensively for the Yellow Jackets was senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference middle hitter

Natalie Emmons (Ashland) led with 47 digs while junior right side hitter
Shannon Deleur (Olmsted Falls) recorded 25.
